This stunning custom-made David Hayward Design crystal inkwell with a sterling silver cap is mounted on 200-year old Russian reindeer leather that was recovered from the shipwreck of the Metta Catharina which sank off the coast of Plymouth, England in 1786.

This 6"x 6" inkwell stand is an outstanding example of English craftmanship melding a contemporary crystal inkwell on exotic leather. Please note that the inkwell and base are sold as a unit (the pen is not included). Each set comes with a description of the history of the Metta Catharina.
