This hand-painted and hand-blown glass ornament depicts a winter scene in Binney Park in Old Greenwich. Marsha York, a well-known New England artist, has won numerous awards for her pastels.

Marsha's work is meticulously reproduced here "on the inside" of the glass using small brushes and hours of craftmanship. This form of artwork, known as eglomise, has existing in China since 1802. The ornament is approximately 3" in diameter.
